Hullo, I am new to this forum and joined to learn more about what's happened to Sindy since I had her as a child, as well as to see how I might restore some of my old friends. I've already learned how to iron out the bit on her foot where the dog had chewed, how to re-wire ankles to allow her to stand en pointe, and what I can do to help my Beach Party's dodgy hair, so thanks for that!

Hello Francesca Looking forward to hearing how you get on with your restorations! I have a few girls with dodgy hair. I am sure I read somewhere to use washing softener on it, but I am not sure!  I could have got that hideously wrong!  ;D I am impressed with the ankle wiring.
