I thought I'd introduce you to my 2 cats, Spenser and Murphy. They just turned 16 -- and they are huge! (Mum was a Maine Coon -- a breed that can grow to about 25 lbs and their father was known only to God and their mother!) This is Spenser. [it is the family joke that I am his "mom" -=- thus my user name]: And this is Murphy: They are spoiled rotten!

Yes, they are . . um. . . a bit big!! Murphy, the one inthe bottom picture, has paws that are 2.5 inches across! And when they sleep tail to tail on my double bed, they reach right across it.

Gorgeous cats, a friend of mine used to breed maine coon, they get to be BIG CATS but really friendly and so intelligent, almost like dogs. Their tails are amazing, bet you find they need a lot of grooming. love Lorlor.x.

Thankfully, they don't mind being groomed -- I have to buy a new brush about every 3 months!! And I'm constantly hoovering up cat hair. But I don't mind. Their tails are just great plumes of fluff and they pick up all sorts of things in them.

Those are a lovely pair of cats. I love semi-longhairs and yours are gorgeous.
One of my cats, Iella, is a Norwegian Forest - very similar to the Maine Coon. She's only just over a year old, but she's a lovely great furry lump to pick up and cuddle. And her tail's a wonderful plume too.

Norwegians are wonderful cats -- and very, VERY bright. So don't be surprised if she starts doing all sorts of things (like opening closet doors, like the Norry a friend of mind had used to do).
