This is my son and girlfriends cat Gilbie who became ill a few months ago with a rare form of leukemia and sadly yesterday he took a turn for the worse as he could not breathe very well or stand. They rushed him last night to a emergency vet as he was dying in front of them.They are devastated and very upset as he would have been three in March and he was their baby Gilbie. We went round there this morning to bury Gilbie in their garden in the spot he used to sit. I am so upset too as he was a loveable huggable girl thingy cat and was so gentle. Oh Val I'm so sorry, I know how devastated you must all feel. Like with our little Poppy, it seems so unfair when a cat isn't able to live out its life to the full. Just remember, they are only ever a thought away. Lots of love, Lisa xxxxx |

Thank you Anita Debbie and Lorlor xxx Yes it was sad as he was a lovely cat and so gentle too. Lauren keeps going to call him but he is not there Little Tia who was his little soul mate is really moping around and meowing at the mo as she misses him This is Tia  Val x |

Can I add my sympathies, too, Val? Such a beautiful cat. Tia is beautiful, too, and it's awful that she has lost her best friend. Animals feel that as much as we do. |
