Hi just wanted to say hello and to find out if anyone knows anything about this item....... I got her recently and have never ever seen one before. I found here in the Collette Mansell book but there isnt much info there. Does any one know anything else about her you can see her here/........ And i guess I should introduce myself......
I live in the Swansea area of South Wales and had the obligitory couple of Sindy dolls as a kid, (I'm thirty sumthing now) I passed them all on along with their clothes to younger members of my family...... and last year my mum found my Sindy horse in the attic and I was hooked all over again.... I have collected Barbie dolls for years and had forgotten how cute Sindy really was...... My first New Sindy was the Gauntlet Lovely Lively that I rerooted in midnight and sunset..... I got her for 50p at a Bootsale and have scoured them ever since for a bargain like that ,.............................

I just posted up on your ooak sindys bit..... I really like the ones with a fringe how do you get them to lie flat like that !!!

Cappachino for me with vanilla syrup....yummm... boiling water poured gently over the head then cold water straight after. Cut the fringe after the water treatment when wet not before  that way it is perfect length and straight |

fab!!!! I can get curls and stuff but I haven't been able to get a tidy fringe But I'm gonna have a go asap I will show you the results !!!
