Oh dear! I hope your hubby is a good Greek man and makes you happy. Actually it is easy to speak Greek as long as someone teach you the pronounciation. Not to mention that English women who speak Greek have this special accent that makes them very very atractive! On the other hand English is a lovely language also. I listen to several accents, like Irish or Scotish, or very good english like the ones that are spoken in Jane's Austen books and I get crazy! I adore it! I wish I had the chance to listen to English people speak more often. Kalos sas vrika *Hugs* xxxx (Oh yeah, we do hug a lot!)

hehe, yes he is a good man...his english is perfect, but I like him to speak to me in Greek so I learn faster The pronounciation is ok for me, the problem is the grammer, it is very difficult.... I always have 'ert' tv channel on at home to listen to the greek news, just to keep learning I think I sound very strange when I speak greek lol

aquaprincess > Oh "ERT" channel is the best you could chose. Actually it is the State's channel and has lots of interesting interviews and documentaries. It is the most accurate t.v. channel as far as the news is concerned so I am very happy for you. Um... I know... Greek grammar is a bit tough but there is also a big difference in word order between English and Greek. That is my main problem. We say things backwards (lol) ;D Not to mention my spelling! I have an Irish friend, a lovely lady indeed who have send me a very good dictionary with pictures, however my spelling didn't imporve at all. I try to read English books in order to get used but since the Engllish Alphabet is different than the Greek, I always forget I am sure you sound great speaking Greek, don't be afraid to use it. After all you must have heard a lot of awful English by lot's of Greeks ;D ;D Lisa > Nice to be back Thank you very much for your words of sympathy, it is very nice to be back and see that all members are well
