we're just back from the vet with her, she has a lump on her side..thought it was just a cut that had got infected....what we can see is only the surface..its about the size of a tennis ball. She's going to get an operation on friday to get it removed and see what it is... my poor dog has only ever been to the vet for her booster jags...we've never had anything wrong with her. god knows what kinda of bill i'm getting for this.

Hi Donna,
Really sorry to hear about you poorly dog. Sometimes these things are easily removed and turn out to be benign, I hope this is the case with yours.
Try not to worry too much, I know it can be hard sometimes. I had a similar problem with one of my cats and it racked up the vets bills so I know how you feel.
Hope all goes well on friday.
Take care xx

Forgot i had posted this,,lol
Well its been 2 weeks since the op and it all went well, the lump was an ulcerated cyst, so its been removed and she's healing well. She got flaming kennel cough on top of it though and thats been a worry, so she's still on anti biotics for that and is slowly getting back too normal.
Its all been rather worrying and the vet bill was a large one, but we managed to find the money without me selling off my dollies... My collecting has been put aside for now as i have no money to buy, but i'd rather have my doggy well.
thnak you all for asking.
