I did think that the songs were better this year and my fave was that rock song with the angel and devil as he sounded like Axl Rose.

However, the voting is totally farcial and western european countries have no chance whatsoever. I thought the UK song was very good and to come bottom was a travesty!

I used to watch this years ago when growing up in the 70's and up until the early 80's when Bucks Fizz won. I havent watched it for years and years now as i think it lost its charm. Back then it was a family thing that you all sat around enjoying it, wondering what on earth the different languages where actually singing. It doesnt surprise me that we came last. I didnt see it to hear the performance but have caught snippets of the chap singing so we shouldnt have been last i am sure. We have had an habit in the past thos of entering really naff groups doing one hit wonders.

I agree Carl...this is what gets me, i dont mean any offence to non english speaking folk, but i read that they tell the bands to sing in english as it will help their chances. But i dont get how!! As they obviously arent our fwiends!!!!xxxxx
