Hi. Yes Penny her hair is twisted in a small side ponytail. Barbie has sooo many more holes than a sindy and they are smaller on the main part of the head, around the head the are soooo tiny. It is very awkward to re-root.

How do you re-root a Barbie? I thought once their heads were off they were broken! She looks Fabby. I wouldn't mind practicing on a Barbie first as there are so many around that need TLC and It wouldn't matter too much if it all went wrong. I expect it is very difficult as her neck is so narrow though. JILL X

You have to be VERY careful when taking off Barbie's head. Coming out of her head is a ring and on the inside of her neck is a point which goes into the ring in her head! (hope that made sense)I find the easiest way to get her head off is to soften the plastic with a hair dryer then carefully pry her head off. Iv still not perfected it, i still end up with a little crack in her neck but that's easy to cover her up. The actual re-rooting process is quite hard (but iv only done one so i dont know if it gets easier) the holes are alot smaller than Sindy's but if i can do it ANYBODY can lol
