daisy x have you been playing around with you personel profile ??   this is my party trick and i keep loosing my avatar as i keep messing about with my profile . much to poor cheryls annoyance !!!  this may be the problem if its not then i dont know , but cheryl will put it back right for you xx  |

Same thing just happened to me  --I went to add some personal text to underneath the avatar, and the text was added but the avatar disappeared. I never toyed with the avatar proper  . Maybe a glitch Frances |

Hi All Please don't play about with your Avatars - if you need things adding to it this MUST be done by the Site Administrator only. which is Cheryl! Any changes that need doing should be PM'd to Cheryl and she will get it done as and when she can do so  Thanks, Anita x |

Hi Frances The personal text like Member of Month for example is added by Cheryl as Admin and not members, even I don't have that level of access.  You can add info about your hobbies, add a signature or saying like I have in mine at the bottom, which signifies that I am also a Star Trek fan, you can change your enail address and change your online status if you wish to be invisible to everyone, but you can't mess about too much or you will lose everything, then Proboards have to reset everything! I wonder maybe there's a way to grey it out or something as it offers it up as an option in the members 'modify profile' section which is what confused me --had it been showing as 'unavailable' or somehow greyed out, I wouldn't have attempted any change. I feel sorry to think that it might make a lot of extra work for Cheryl otherwise, fixing all our goofups! Will not touch a thing from hereout (lol)  Thanks! Frances |

Members are able to edit their own profiles but if care is not taken it will remove your avatar and I have to replace it. It's not a problem but if you can imaging over 200 members doing this, it would take up a great deal of my time. There are occasions however, where avatars may disappear from the board from time to time. |

As your website was one of the first places I found as I started to research my re-found Sindys' this is bizzarly like speaking to a kinda Sindy Pop star ,and please forgive if I gush a little ,but I gots to tells ya...
MY SINDY AVATAR IS TOO CUTE!!!
Now,as some might know I am purely a Pedigree kinda boy,but that is one stylish noo Sindy girl I got,and she has fabulus hair.
So thankyou for giving me such a loverly avatar,and I had no idea you would capture my likeness so well...dimples and all (...no not really...)
