Upload an Image

I have added a new feature that will allow everyone to upload pictures direct from their PC. ;D Select thumbnail and click add to post ;D

Please use this feature with care and keep your pictures to a reasonable size so it doesn't distort the forum.



Step by step instructions

• Click reply(to existing thread)/new thread/new poll
  
• Click Browse (next to Upload an Image)
  
• Select desired picture from PC by clicking on it. Click Open
  
• Click Host It (next to Upload an Image)
  
• Wait for the new window to upload your image(it will tell you when upload is successful)
  
• Place dot next to text box saying Thumbnail
  
• Click Add to Post
  

By following these instructions you will successfully upload thumbnail pictures to any of your posts. If a fellow member wishes to see the picture in a larger scale, all they do is click on the desired picture. This will then open up a larger image of the thumbnail.

Step 1 - Click Reply

Step 2 - Click Browse

Step 3 - Click on required photo & Click Open

Step 4 - Click Host It

Step 5 - Wait while your image loads

Step 6 - View your options & chosen image

Step 7 - Click text in center box to make it blue

Step 8 - Right Click and select Copy

Step 9 - Close imageshack page

Step 10 - Right Click in Reply box & Click Paste

Step 11 - View selected text in Post Reply box

Step 12 - Click Post Reply

Step 13 - View posted image

Just a tip for new members - you can type above and below where your pics will be on the thread! ;D This saves valuable Forum space

I am having problems when i get to uploading the 3rd pic. It takes me to that other image shack screen? I am doing something wrong?

Oh i think that Image shack is playing up as normally i have no problem in uploading but just now it is a nightmare

Hi there

I was also confused with the new image shack screen, but if you just cut n paste the code that appears on the second one - called thumbnail 1 into your post they appear fine when you preview or post.

they seem to have removed those nice sensible buttons

I found that too Nic - sometimes that Thumbnail 1 code didn't work quite right for me, so I started using Photobucket instead as it seemed much easier to understand

OK Girls and Boys ;D

Have finally sussed out a way of loading via Imageshack - Click Browse then host it as normal then wait for Imageshack window to open. IGNORE the codes right in front of you saying Direct Link and Short Link. Instead go to the text below that and select Thumbnail for Forums 1 and copy and paste that URL into your thread, then check preview. It seems to work for me every time that way

This is the text you will see on the Imageshack page. I have emboldened the link you will want to use

Thumbnail for forums (1)
Thumbnail for forums (2)
Link back to ImageShack or use the banners and buttons
