Hi everyone, I'm Mandie and new to Sindy collecting. I used to own Sindy when I was a child and decided this was the year in which I would rebuy some of my childhood toys. This is my excuse when I suddenly start getting heavily into Sindy collecting.

I also collect Barbie, through I tend to stick to modern one - such as Fashion Fever and Model Muse.

Looking forward to getting to know everyone and learning a bit more about Sindy.

i started collecting about 8 months ago. promised myself it would just be the sindy furniture for a dolls house xmas pressie. afraid that was not too be true!! i now have 35 dolls and endless clothes and still growing(it is a very addictive hobby)
I love all the tips and ideas i get from everyone here and adore seeing everyones dolls.

i would love to see pictures of your barbies. i have stuck to sindy but am very temted with other dolls.

I collect all Sindys up to and including 1988. I wish I'd just gone for one era or sort now, I've got about a 100 dolls and I'm desperately trying to stop

Everyone is lovely you'll get tips tricks and swaps and guess what else addictted to many other dolls as you see everyones collection.

What era of Sindy interests you most? I collect from 1963-69 but other forum members collect from a much wider number of years.

I've not actually got my first Sindy yet, though I've got one on her way from eBay. I'm probably going to stick to the late seventies/early eighties dolls/clothes as that was when I played with Sindy. Although my Mum just told me she used to get all Sindy's clothes cheap from Boyes and she thought they were from the late sixties! LOL.
