hello to everyone my name is sue I thought it was time i took my daughters advice and joined you all. hope to get lots of tips and ideas from all you collectors. My first sindy was bought for me by my grandma in the sixties unfortunately she was lost years ago. so i decided to buy a replacement that is as near to her as possible.I am now the proud owner of 8 soon to be 9 when the postie decides to deliver her.

Hi Sue! Welcome to our group! How nice to meet you...My nana started me on Sindy collecting too ! She was born in England but moved to Canada after WW2--used to make trips back and forth from Canada to the UK for many years thereafter, right into the 1970s, and used to bring dolls back with her for all the girls in the family...I found some of them again only recently!!! It's wonderful to hear that you have rediscovered the joy of Sindy collecting, and how lovely to share this with your daughter. Looking forward to chatting with you more soon about your dollies, Best, Frances !

Hi Sue Welcome aboard and enjoy your time here!! Hope to chat to you in due course about dollies - don't get to talk about Tressy much but I understand you like her, as does Pebbles & I, so between the three of us we should able to have some chats about her now and again!! Please post pics of your collection soon. Apologies to you and Zoe for thinking you were Alice's Mum. Luv Anita xxx
