Hiya, i'm Vonny. Just started collecting Sindy dolls. I was crazy about Sindy when i was younger and had a huge amount of Sindy stuff, sadly my mum sold everything when i was about 12, and until this week, i had not seen a pedigree Sindy in the flesh for around 20 years!! I have really missed her! She brought back so so many fantastic memories from my childhood that i had tears in my eyes.  I never imagined there were so many collectors out there, and i have discovered the Sindy Re- Roots, there are some beautiful ones out there, so i am going to have a go myself- can't wait. I have just received the nylon hair now i'm bidding on dolls having bad hair days! I must say as a child i was loyal to Sindy and refused to acknowledge the Barbie doll- in my opinion she was no way near as sweet and innocent as my Sindy dolls and would never be as classy or pretty! Well, now i shall go and read some tutorials, a lady called Robin from 'My Little Customs' has been so helpful- she also recommended this site to me. Bye for now x |

hello and welcome! i totally undertand where you are comig from as i had all my Sindys sold when i was 12 too. I never would have parted with them if it was my choice! I got into re collecting Sindys a couple of years ago, they are such special dolls that bring back fond memories:)
