I really don't know how I came across this site. I look up Sindy web sites now and again and see what's out there. It's all quite interesting. But as I work and have a family I don't have much spare time to search the web. I have always collected Sindy and the dolls have always been part of my life. So many people I have met can't believe I still have all my stuff and look to come and look at my houses and furniture, books, mags and annuals that I have. Yet I know I don't have everything!!!

I just like pretending I am 8 or 9 years old agin for an hour or so!

I just googled 'sindy', and sindydolly.com came up first on the page and then I found this place in there.

I found this site from a link off the other site I also couldnt work out how to join. What was going wrong was my internet provider destroying all the verification emails before they hit my inbox. I actually had to open a hotmail account to get on these forums and still have to work out how to find out what other emails my ISP has decided I dont need to see!

I had previously stumbled upon this group but didn't join because I was already in a few other groups and didn't think I could cope with all the messages. As the other groups have gone considerably quiet and recently meeting Nicky here in Perth, she spoke of the group and I decided I would look into it and then I joined.

Good old Google. I was looking for ideas on how to restore my old Sindys. As kids, my friends and I were too enthusiastic when it came to brushing and styling Sindy's hair!
